Express Entry Quarterly Report- First quarter of 2019 exceed the first quarter of 2018


Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada plays a major role in Canada immigration every year. With an increase in nomination allocation quota in the past few months, PNPs continue to have an impact on Canada’s Economic immigration programs.
Though PNPs plays a vital role of second fiddle in Federal Express Entry System, for the past several months, they surely made their presence. As Express Entry System cut off marks are not dipping by much in a previous year, Provincial Nominee Programs provided rescue to the candidates with low CRS score.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

Ontario PNP with an increase in annual nomination target for this year will turn out to be the key provincial nominee program. It is mostly opted by immigrants who have a low score as per the latest announcement about minimum CRS score need. Ontario finally disclosed that it does not have any minimum CRS requirement, i.e. 400 points for its Express Entry Stream. Instead, it will be determined by the OINP director for each draw of OINP.
Since then, Ontario has accepted the applicants who have CRS score as low as 350 CRS points. Those applicants should have some experience in either priorities ICT occupation or proficiency in the French language.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program

Saskatchewan PNP is a major Provincial Nominee Program and has popular streams, i.e., Occupation in Demand (OID) and Express Entry Subcategory. SINP gained popularity and become more organized with its new Expression of Interest (EOI) based system. The applicants now have ample time to register their profile and wait for the result in the form of Invitation to apply (ITA) for the provincial nomination.
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) never demands any job offer from Canada and Occupation in Demand (OID) approves the applicants who have limited language proficiency which is as low as CLB 4.
