Canada held a new Express Entry draw, issuing 3,350 invitations for the Canadian PR


Canada government issued 3,350 invitations to apply for permanent residence to Express Entry candidates in a draw held on March 20. The cut-off CRS score (Comprehensive Ranking System) in this draw was 452, comparatively with the previous Express Entry draw, the new draw CRS score has been fallen down with two points. As of now immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) have issued a total of 21,200 invitations to apply in 2019 through the Express Entry System. In 2018 Canada issued 89,800 invitations, and that is a vast amount of invitations. Same as last year, this time an increase of 6,700 over the 14,500 ITAs (Invitations to apply).


Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for these categories are allowed into Express Entry and announces a ranking score based on aspects such as their education, work, experience, age and proficiency in English or French. Highest-scoring candidates will get an invitation from IRCC to apply for Canadian permanent residence regular draws from the express entry pool. March 20 draw tie-break fixed at February 7, 2019, at 9:59 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). So that all aspirants with a CRS score of 452 or above who entered their profile in the Express Entry System before the selected date and time received an ITA in invitation round.
